
Heavy rains had led to flooding in parts of North Texas Thursday morning.
FORT WORTH, Texas — A dive team found a car and a body in a pond at a Fort Worth golf course Thursday morning amid heavy rains that led to flooding, officials say.
Fort Worth police said they were called to the Rivercrest Country Club in the 1500 block of Western Avenue shortly after 8 a.m. and found a silver vehicle in a pond.
A Fort Worth police spokesperson said a dive team was dispatched and a man’s body was also found in the water in the pond.
No details about the incident were immediately available.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, officials say.
