SAN ANTONIO — Two people have been sentenced to prison for an armed robbery of a Domino’s Pizza in Boerne back in December 2024, according to a press release from the Kendall County District Attorney’s Office.
Officials said Kenneth Courtney Davis, 34, plead guilty to aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. He received a 25-year sentence and $5,000 fine. Victoria Jan McDonald, 35, was found guilty of the same charges and sentenced to 10 years in prison.
According to the press release, Boerne police, Kendall County deputies, and Texas DPS troopers responded to an armed robbery on December 29, 2024 at the Domino’s Pizza located at 1375 South Main Street around 7:30 p.m.
Witnesses told authorities that a man had pointed a handgun at an employee while a woman with pink-highlighted hair acted as the lookout. The duo fled in a white Mitsubishi SUV with about $120 in cash and rolled coins. Surveillance footage corroborated this story, authorities said. The suspects and vehicle also matched previous crimes in San Antonio.
According to the press release, investigators determined McDonald’s residence and placed officers nearby. A few hours later, a Boerne police officer located the Mitsubishi approaching the apartment complex. The officer conducted a traffic stop and detained both suspects, who were still wearing clothes consistent with those seen in the surveillance footage during the Domino’s robbery.
Authorities said they searched the SUV and found multiple BB guns resembling handguns, including one with a red-taped grip identical to the weapon used in the Boerne robbery, an all-black CO2 BB pistol, and a sawed-off BB shotgun matching the firearm seen in a San Antonio incident. Officers also recovered rolled coin packages, Domino’s gift cards, 13.36 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. McDonald’s apartment was also searched – where officers found the tan cap Davis wore during the robbery and a black backpack filled with rolled coins.
Investigators said the location data confirmed the pair had traveled to San Antonio after the robbery to purchase drugs. Authorities also found a receipt used at Walmart. Surveillance video showed the duo in Walmart paying with cash and rolled coins consistent with the stolen money
According to the press release, during sentencing, jurors were provided with evidence linking Davis and McDonald to two additional San Antonio armed robberies. McDonald admitted her role in a December 21, 2024, robbery of Ross Dress for Less at La Cantera Parkway and a December 22, 2024, robbery of a Domino’s on Perrin Beitel Road.
