Dog bathing stations set up in Kerrville; multiple groomers offer services for free for SAR K9s

There are multiple organizations offering a place to take these rescue K9s to get them a much-needed bath after a hard day’s work.

KERRVILLE, Texas — Search and rescue K9s are doing a lot of the dirty work when it comes to the recovery efforts in Kerr County.

The dogs have been spending all day in the mud and debris left behind after the flood waters have receded.

There are multiple organizations offering a place to take these rescue K9s to get them a much-needed bath after a hard day’s work.

Kerrville Pets Alive! is also providing medical care or resources for all search and rescue animals.

Kerr County Animal Care Services has also offered their facilities. They will also assist you with food, leashes, collars, and treats for your dog.

Pet Supplies Plus located at 305 Sidney Baker St. S Suite 400 in Kerrville78028 has FREE self-washing stations where you can bring your search and rescue dog to give them a bath. The store says that emotional support animals can also be bathed at a self-washing station at no charge.
