
WACO, Texas — A dog was safely rescued from a storm drain by the Waco Fire Department’s Technical Rescue Team.
The rescue occurred in the 900 block of South 10th Street after reports came in about a dog trapped in a storm drain. Heavy rain in the area made the situation potentially more dangerous, but firefighters were able to safely extract the animal without injury.
Photos shared by the department showed the small dog appearing alert and safe following the rescue. The post can be found below.
