SAN ANTONIO — A dog was shot out due to a “defensive discharge” Saturday evening while a man was going on a walk, SAPD says.
Police were called to the 100 block of Torreon around 6:09 p.m. for a shooting in progress.
Once there, they found out that a rottweiler charged at a man while he was walking down the street, causing a “defensive discharge” by the man, hitting the dog once, according to police.
Animal Control is on scene as officials continue to investigate this shooting. Police do not believe at this time that there was anything criminal in this case.
