Bruno Mars’ will bring the uptown funk to San Antonio this fall on his first global stadium tour. Here’s when tickets go on sale.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio fans mark your calendars, Bruno Mars is officially headed to the Alamo City!
The global superstar announced Wednesday that he will bring “The Romantic Tour” to the Alamodome on September 23, 2026, according to a news release. The stop is part of his first full headline tour in nearly a decade and his first-ever global stadium tour.
Produced by Live Nation, the tour supports Mars’ long-awaited fourth solo album, “The Romantic,” set to release February 27. The worldwide run includes nearly 40 shows across North America, Europe and the United Kingdom, with only three Texas stops: Arlington, Houston and San Antonio.
For local fans, the Alamodome date marks a major return for one of pop music’s most electrifying performers, known for chart-topping hits such as “Just the Way You Are,” “24K Magic,” “Uptown Funk” and the GRAMMY Award-winning “Die With a Smile.”
According to the release, Anderson .Paak will join Mars on all tour dates as DJ Pee .Wee, reuniting the Silk Sonic collaborators on stage. Select shows will also feature opening performances by Victoria Monét, RAYE and Leon Thomas.
The tour launches April 10 in Las Vegas and includes major stadium stops across the U.S. before heading overseas.
Tickets for the San Antonio show will be available through an artist presale beginning Wednesday, January 14 at noon, with general ticket sales opening Thursday, January 15 at noon, according to the release. Fans must register at the website here by January 12 to access the presale.
For San Antonio fans, it’s shaping up to be a night of stadium-sized hits, smooth grooves and — as Mars might put it — music that’s “locked out of heaven” until he hits the stage downtown next fall.
