The Buccaneers posted to social media Sunday mourning their former player.

Martin is described as the “best running back in school history” by Boise State University.
“Rest in peace to a Bronco legend. You will be missed,” Boise State Football posted to social media.
The California native was with the school from 2007 to 2011 then became the 31st overall pick for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2012 NFL draft.

During his time with the Buccaneers, he was a Pro Bowler and finalist for rookie of the year. He also was named the first-team All-Pro and a Pro Bowler in 2015, according to Boise State University.
The Buccaneers said he was a “fan favorite” during his time on the team and was honored as one of the top 50 Buccaneers of all time for his “numerous achievements.”
He played with the team for six seasons before playing with the then Oakland Raiders in 2018. His NFL career spanned 84 games where he rushed for 5,356 yards and had 30 touchdowns, according to his alma mater.
