Police are searching for a driver who ran away after a yellow Hyundai crashed into an unoccupied VIA bus just north of downtown.
SAN ANTONIO — Police are searching for a driver who ran away after crashing into a parked VIA bus just north of downtown early Wednesday morning.
According to an officer with the San Antonio Police Department, the crash happened around 1 a.m. in the 4700 block of Blanco Road.
Police say the driver of a yellow Hyundai crashed into the back of an unoccupied VIA bus that was parked along the roadway. The driver then fled the scene on foot, leaving the vehicle behind.
No injuries were reported.
Officers from SAPD, the San Antonio Fire Department, and VIA Metropolitan Transit police responded to the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are working to locate the driver.
