
San Antonio police are searching for a driver who fled after striking a 15-year-old riding a mini motor bike Saturday evening.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a 15-year-old hurt Saturday.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers were called around 5:45 p.m. to the 200 block of Holy Cross Drive near Culebra Road for a major accident involving a mini motor bike and a sedan.
Investigators say the 15-year-old was riding northbound on the 100 block of Holy Cross Drive when a sedan traveling southbound on the 200 block came close to him.
Police say the teen tried to swerve to avoid a collision, but the driver of the sedan also swerved, and the vehicle struck him.
The driver then fled the scene without stopping to help, according to police.
The teen was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
No arrests had been made as of the latest update, and the investigation remains ongoing.
