
San Antonio police are searching for the driver of a black SUV after a scooter rider was hit and hurt Saturday night.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a scooter rider injured on the southeast side of town Saturday night.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers were called around 8:44 p.m. Saturday to the 3300 block of Southeast Loop 410 southbound access road for a major accident.
Investigators say a 21-year-old man was riding a scooter southbound when he was struck by a black SUV.
Police say the driver left the scene without stopping to help.
The scooter rider was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
No arrests had been made as of the latest update, and the investigation remains ongoing.
