The woman is six months pregnant and at last check, her and her unborn baby are in stable condition.
SAN ANTONIO — A driver lost control of their SUV and crashed, leaving behind a pregnant passenger on the northeast side of town late Saturday night, police say.
It happened around 11:15 p.m. in the 17300 block of Wurzbach Parkway heading east, near O’Connor Road.
The 27-year-old victim is six months pregnant and was a passenger in the 2008 black Chevrolet Avalanche that crashed. The unknown driver apparently lost control and crashed into the concrete dividers then fled from the scene, leaving their passenger behind. The victim was taken by SAFD to the hospital with unknown injuries.
At last check, she and her unborn child were in stable condition.
When the driver of the vehicle is found, they will be charged with Collision Involving Injury.
