KERRVILLE, Texas — It was a busy and bitterly cold start to the day for Kerrville police and firefighters Tuesday after crews responded to a major fire along Pearl Street.
Officials said the fire broke out early in the morning, prompting a swift response from the Kerrville Fire Department and Kerrville Police.
Thanks to quick work by firefighters, the flames were brought under control in a short amount of time, preventing the fire from spreading further. Authorities confirmed no injuries were reported and no lives were lost.
While roads around town were clear following the incident, officials are reminding drivers to remain cautious, as isolated icy patches may still be present in some areas due to freezing temperatures.
