Easter in the Park returns to Brackenridge Park with egg hunts, music and family fun

A full weekend of Easter egg hunts, live music and family activities is planned at Brackenridge Park.

SAN ANTONIO — Families are invited to celebrate Easter weekend at Brackenridge Park with two days of free, family-friendly events.

“Easter in the Park” returns to the Joske Pavilion with egg hunts, live performances, and activities for kids of all ages. Organizers say the annual event is designed to bring the community together in one of San Antonio’s most beloved parks.

Festivities begin Saturday, April 4, with Easter egg hunts for younger children followed by music, a DJ and karaoke into the evening.

The celebration continues Sunday, April 5, with more egg hunts and a lineup of live performances throughout the afternoon.

Event organizers say the park’s usual 11 p.m. curfew will be lifted starting Thursday evening, allowing families to camp and enjoy the full weekend experience.

The Brackenridge Park Conservancy is hosting the event in partnership with the Pura Vida Awards, promising a festive atmosphere and even a surprise guest for children.

Families are encouraged to bring blankets, gather friends and enjoy a weekend of springtime fun.
