The family-owned business is for sale because the owners are ready to retire, according to an email send to MySA. The retirement sale also could see their other two restaurants, Margaritas be sold as well. There is a Margaritas in Liberty Hill and Marble Falls.
“The owner of El Rio have perfected the food service business model. New menu offerings, efficient staff and preparation protocols, efficient bar, which could be expanded, and strong community presence have allowed for year over year growth in a very competitive business,” the listing says.
El Rio is located at 1361 S. Main St., #600, Boerne, TX 78006, which is in the same parking lot as Planet Fitness and Jiffy Lube. The restaurant is tucked away in the right corner of the shopping center.
