CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A single-vehicle crash near Sinton claimed the lives of an elderly couple on Friday.
According to Texas Game Wardens and and the Refugio County Sheriff’s Department the accident happened on the Aransas River near the HWY 77 crossing, north east of Sinton.
Deputies discovered a vehicle upside down in the water. As crews were recovering the vehicle, they found the elderly couple dead inside.
