Evidence list reveals items found inside Lakewood Church shooter’s home after search warrant executed

CONROE, Texas — On Thursday, KHOU 11 received the evidence list of what was found inside the Lakewood Church shooter‘s home in Conroe, Texas after a search warrant was executed. 

Items include ammunition, bullet-proof vests, cartridges, a mask with “Free Gaza Trump” on it and more.  

The warrant was executed on Genesse Moreno’s home on Sunday night, hours after the shooting at Lakewood.

Moreno was wearing a trench coat and a backpack when she threatened an unarmed security guard with an AR-15 before entering Lakewood with her 7-year-old son on Sunday afternoon, according to police. She started shooting her AR-15 as soon as she walked inside the church. Two off-duty officers — one from HPD and one from TABC — killed Moreno in what police called a shootout. 

During the gun battle, Moreno’s son was shot in the head. At last check, he is still in critical condition. A 57-year-old man, an innocent bystander, was also shot in the leg. He was released from the hospital on Monday.

Before she died, Moreno mentioned to officers she had a bomb, but one wasn’t found.
