Jones was arrested in Arlington in November 2024 for allegedly hitting an officer during a fight.
CINCINNATI — Former Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam “Pacman Jones” was arrested Saturday morning near Cincinnati, according to police.
According to a news release from the Covington Police Department, officers responded to The Second Story Bar at around 12:44 a.m. to the report of a disturbance involving a customer and an employee.
Once officers arrived, police said they were directed to a car that was attempting to leave the area. Police conducted a traffic stop and identified 41-year-old Jones as a passenger in the car. During the investigation, police said officers arrested Jones for his level of intoxication and his behavior.
Covington PD said Jones was taken to the Kenton County Detention Center and, during processing, he assaulted the arresting officer, causing a minor injury. Police said Jones was charged with alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct second degree, and assault third degree (police officer).
“The Covington Police Department takes incidents of this nature very seriously,” the department said in the news release. “We are committed to maintaining peace and ensuring the safety of all who live in or visit Covington. Adam Jones is being held to the same standard of conduct as any other individual in our community.”
Just a few months ago, Jones was arrested in Arlington, Texas, for a similar incident at the Live by Loews hotel, where he was involved in a fight at the bar. The incident ended with Jones being arrested and charged with assault on a peace officer, public intoxication, and evading arrest.
