
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
SAN ANTONIO — A family escaped a house fire in far east Bexar County Wednesday morning, according to officials.
The fire reportedly started around 11 a.m. on Candlewick Court near north Foster Road.
Upon arrival, fire crews saw flames coming out of the roof of the home. The firefighters were able to contain the fire to the attic area but the rest of the home sustained extensive smoke damage, according to Bexar County officials.
Officials said the family was able to get out safely. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
