Family and friends organize a search for missing Houston man Juber Sandoval on Saturday.
HOUSTON — Family and friends of a 65-year-old Houston man last seen nearly two weeks ago are organizing a search on Saturday.
Juber Sandoval has been missing since July 20.
Sandoval was last seen near the 10300 block of Sagelink Circle near the Sam Houston Tollway and the Gulf Freeway. He was wearing a blue t-shirt featuring the Disney character Stitch, blue jeans, black and white sneakers, and a baseball cap.
The search will begin at 8 a.m. in the parking lot of Mount Olive Lutheran Church at 10310 Scarsdale in south Harris County.
Loved ones are urging the public to join the search or help raise awareness by distributing flyers.
“The community is mobilizing to raise awareness and bring Juber home,” organizers said in a news release.
Digital billboards featuring Sandoval’s image and details were expected to go live Friday in the Pasadena and League City areas.
Anyone with information about Sandoval’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit at 713-274-9270, Houston Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477), or email HCSOMissingTipLine@sheriff.hctx.net.
Authorities and family members hope the increased visibility will generate tips that lead to Sandoval’s safe return.
