Family Resource Center in Kerrville offers assistance for those with injured, missing or deceased loved ones

The Department of Motor Vehicles will provide applications for copies of vehicle titles, and can provide a temporary permit for a vehicle. The Kerr County Clerk’s Office can help you fill out applications for land records, birth, death, and marriage certificates. The Texas Department of Insurance can help with claims. The Red Cross can help get you financial assistance for any family member you’ve lost. The Social Security Administration is also there.

In addition to these resources are a number of emotional support and mental health related organizations.

The Family Assistance Center is located at BT Wilson Education Building, located at 605 Tivy Street and will operate daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

It is different from the FEMA Resource Center because this is only for those that have lost a loved one or a loved one is missing or injured by the 4th of July flood.
