SAN ANTONIO — One family is displaced from their home after a fire sparks on the northwest side Wednesday night, according to Bexar County officials.
The incident took place at the 8000 block of Dotted Palm around 11:50 p.m. Wednesday.
Officials say the fire started in the garage before it spread upstairs and into the attic.
The family was able to get out safely but will have to find somewhere else to stay.
Firefighters estimate damages are about $200,000.
The cause is still under investigation.
