The Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center will turn into a basketball lover’s paradise, complete with appearances by legends of the Silver & Black.
SAN ANTONIO — While free concerts take over Tower Park and fans flock to open practice at the Alamodome, downtown’s Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center will play host to the Final Four Fan Fest extravaganza.
The event promises to create a four-day “sports wonderland” complete with games and autograph signing sessions as the eyes of the college basketball world turn to San Antonio. Spurs fans are in luck, too: Avery Johnson, David Robinson, Bruce Bowen and other icons will be on hand certain days.
It runs Friday through Monday at the convention center, capitalizing on the excitement of the tournament’s final games between Duke, Houston, Auburn and Florida.
