Fan meet-and-greet with Julian Champagnie announced; Spurs hosting ‘Back To School Bash’

Julian Champagnie will meet and greet fans on August 16.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs‘ Julian Champagnie will be at a fan meet-and-greet at Physicians Premier Emergency Room on Saturday, August 16, at 12314 Potranco Rd., No. 102 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Champagnie will be signing autographs and taking photos with fans who attend the event.

Fans can also have a chance to win Spurs tickets for the 2025-26 season, enjoy kids’ activities, eat delicious shaved ice and so much more.

The Spurs forward will also be at the Cibolo ER on Saturday, August 23, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at 580 Cibolo Valley Dr., No. 137.

SPURS BACK TO SCHOOL BASH ANNOUNCED

The Spurs have announced a “Back To School Bash” for local families, teachers and students as the new school year approaches.

Spurs Sports & Entertainment (SS&E) is hosting its fourth annual Back to School Bash at the Frost Bank Center on Sunday, August 10, from 12-3 p.m. Parents, students and teachers in grades K-12 are invited to attend this event for free school supplies and resources, while supplies last. Registration is now open and required for attendance.

Participating in the event will be local organizations, businesses, nonprofits and school districts. This event will offer a range of free resources and services, including:

  • School supplies for K-12 grade levels
  • Vision checks
  • Dental screenings
  • Haircut by appointment through the registration link
  • Information booths for school enrollment, extracurricular activities, and mental health support 

“San Antonio is a city rich with people and organizations who care deeply about our students, families, and educators,” said Patricia Mejia, Chief Impact Officer at SS&E, in a release. “Back to School Bash is a reflection of what’s possible when a community comes together to lift each other up. It’s a reminder that we all have a role to play in helping our young people thrive.”

Parents or guardians must be present with their children, and educators must have their teacher ID upon entering the event. Items and services will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
