FBI San Antonio said the activity is part of an ongoing federal investigation.
SAN ANTONIO — FBI agents were conducting “court-authorized law enforcement activity” Tuesday morning in a northeast-side neighborhood, according to FBI San Antonio.
A neighbor reported seeing law enforcement in the area around 6 a.m. near Old Stable Road near the 3400 block of Ponytail.
“I can confirm the FBI was in the vicinity of Old Stable Rd and Ponytail in San Antonio, Texas 78247, conducting court-authorized law enforcement activity,” FBI San Antonio said in a statement. “There is no threat to public safety but law enforcement personnel will be on scene for several hours during the operation.”
FBI San Antonio said the activity is part of an ongoing federal investigation and no additional details are being released at this time.
Residents in the area can expect a continued law enforcement presence throughout the morning, according to the FBI.
