Police are investigating after a fetus was found in a dumpster at a San Antonio apartment complex.
SAN ANTONIO — Police are investigating after a small fetus was found in a dumpster at an apartment complex in central San Antonio.
The incident happened in the 3500 block of West Avenue, which is not far from the intersection with I-10, around 11:52 a.m.
When officers arrived at the location, a man said he was dumpster diving and found a small diaper bag that contained the fetus “with arms and legs,” SAPD said.
Witnesses at the location identified this as the dumpster where the fetus was found.
Police said this was still an active investigation and gave no information on any arrests.
