Fiery crash leaves one woman dead and police searching for two others who ran away from the scene, officials say

SAN ANTONIO — Police are searching for two people after a fiery crash on the northeast side Friday morning leaving one woman dead, according to officials.

The incident took place around 3 a.m. on the 281 exit ramp going towards 410 west area Friday. The exit ramp was still closed for investigation as of 6 a.m. 

Police say one car was rear-ended by another car that was driving erratically causing the one car to flip and another to catch on fire. Dramatic video shows one car fully engulfed in the flames.

Two people from the flipped vehicle were taken to the hospital and one woman has died, according to officials. The woman has been identified as 76-year-old, Eden Nuval, according to the Medical Examiner. 

Two people got out of the second car involved in the crash and ran away. Police are still searching for them.
