Fill-a-Bag Book Bonanza: Score a tote full of reads for $10 at Central Library

Book lovers can pack a tote with as many books as they can fit for just $10 during a special Spring Break sale at the Central Library on March 15.📚

SAN ANTONIO — If your spring break plans include relaxing with a good book, here’s a deal that’s hard to beat.

The Friends of the San Antonio Public Library are hosting a Spring Break Book Sale where readers can score a tote bag and fill it to the brim with books, all for just $10.

The sale takes place Sunday, March 15, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Central Library, 600 Soledad Street.

The event is organized by the Friends of the San Antonio Public Library and the Book Cellar, the used bookstore tucked inside Central Library. Volunteers are clearing shelves and passing along the savings to the community.

Here’s how it works: for $10, visitors get a reusable tote bag. Then comes the fun part… browsing the shelves and stuffing that bag with as many literary finds as it can hold.

From page-turning novels to hidden nonfiction gems and children’s books, the Book Cellar is known for offering a wide mix of titles at bargain prices.

Even better, every purchase supports a good cause. Proceeds from the sale help fund programs and services at the San Antonio Public Library.

So whether you’re hunting for your next beach read, stocking up for the kids, or just love the thrill of a good book bargain, this sale might be worth penciling into your spring break plans.
