SAN ANTONIO — The Finesilver Curve ramp will be closed Monday as crews pour concrete on the ramp that connects southbound I-35 to westbound I-10 in downtown San Antonio.
The Texas Department of Transportation says the closure will happen Monday, Feb. 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The agency says detour signs will direct drivers to exit South Alamo Street and use the intersection to turn around and enter northbound I-35 to continue onto westbound I-10.
Driver are encouraged to plan ahead and expect delays while the work is happening.
The construction is part of the I-35 and I-10 downtown repair project that includes $25.9 million in funding. The goal is to increase safety along 5.5 miles of the corridor on I-35 from S. Laredo St. to I-37/Camden St. and on I-10 from I-35 to Hildebrand Avenue.
