Fire crew rescues deer that was stuck in iron fence in Sienna

MISSOURI CITY, Texas — If you’ve been to Sienna, you probably know that the roaming deer are part of the charm of the Fort Bend County community. But it was a rough morning for one of those deer when it found itself stuck while roaming through an apartment complex.

Kimberly Bibbs and her grandson, Wesley Brown, captured the video of the deer stuck in an iron fence at the Ranch at Sienna apartment complex a little before 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

Wesley jumped into action, calling for help. Dispatch sent the fire department out and firefighters got there in under 20 minutes.  Once at the complex, they were able to free the deer by bending the bars in the fence.

Once they pried them open wide enough, the grateful deer was able to run to freedom.
