SAN ANTONIO — An abandoned four-story building caught on fire Thursday night, possibly due to homeless activity, according to authorities.

At about 10:15 p.m., firefighters found several trash spot fires on the first floor of a building located in the 400 block of North Medina.

Firefighters cleared the entire building to put the fires out. They say several people experiencing homelessness got into the building and started fires to keep warm.
