The fire on Sunny Glen near Nacogdoches Road began in the attic, according to SAFD.
SAN ANTONIO — A house fire caused heavy damage to a home on the city’s northeast side Monday afternoon, according to the San Antonio Fire Department.
Crews were called around 1:30 p.m. to a home in the 14000 block of Sunny Glen, near Nacogdoches Road.
Fire officials said the single-story residential structure had flames coming from the attic when firefighters arrived. The fire is believed to have begun in the attic, according to SAFD.
The home was heavily damaged in the blaze. 16 units from SAFD responded to battle the blaze. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
