
Officials say that everyone made it out of the home safely and the fire was contained to the attic.
SAN ANTONIO — An early morning fire damaged a home on the east side of San Antonio, firefighters say.
The fire broke out around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday in the 1600 block of Burnet Street near North New Braunfels Avenue.
Officials say the fire started in the attic and thankfully, everybody was able to get out safely. The fore was contained to the attic.
Crews made sure that the fire had not spread and investigators were called to determine the cause.
No injuries were reported.
No word on the amount of damages the home sustained.
