SAN ANTONIO — Fire officials say a cigarette left burning caused a fire at a west-side home.
At about 12:45 a.m. Friday morning, fire officials arrived at a home located in the 600 block of South Navidad Street. The three men who live there had left to get food and returned to a fire, according to officials.
Officials say the fire was caused by a cigarette left burning on a table without an ashtray. The damage was significant.
The home next door had its vinyl siding melted off.
