First responders put out the fire pretty quickly, keeping the damage to a minimum.
SAN ANTONIO — Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish a fire in a detached garage at a northeast side home late Tuesday night.
The fire began just after 10 p.m. at a home in the 5800 block of Royal Club near O’Connor Road.
When firefighters arrived at the home, they found smoke coming from an attached garage behind a pair of townhomes.
First responders were able to extinguish the fire pretty quickly, keeping the damage to a minimum. Officials estimate the damage to be about 10% of the garage.
Fortunately, no one was hurt.
The cause is under investigation.
