Everyone was able to get out safely and no one was hurt.
SAN ANTONIO — Firefighters battled a small fire in the garage of a northeast-side duplex early Wednesday morning.
The fire was reported just before 12:20 a.m. on Ridge Smoke near Thousand Oaks Drive.
Firefighters say they saw light smoke coming from the garage of the duplex when they arrived at the scene.
Everyone was able to get out safely and no one was hurt.
It is unclear when the families will be able to return to their home.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
