
Crews say the fire started on a couch in the home after a space heater was too close and may have sparked the fire.
SAN ANTONIO — Firefighters believe a space heater may be to blame for sparking a fire on the northeast side of town late Saturday night.
It happened just after 10 p.m. at a home off the 6900 block of Sunriver Drive near FM 78 and Walzem Road.
Multiple fire departments stepped in to fight the flames and were able to quickly put out the fire.
Fire crews say the fire started on a couch in the home. They believe a space heater was too close to the couch and may have sparked the fire.
Everyone was able to get out safely.
No word on the estimated damages caused by the fire.
