Firefighters extract driver from truck after car runs red light, T-bones his vehicle

The impact caused the truck to roll over, trapping the driver inside.

SAN ANTONIO — A driver had to be cut out of their truck by firefighters after a rollover crash on the southeast side, police say.

It happened on West Palfrey Street and Goliad Road just after midnight Tuesday.

Police say a driver in a white car ran a red light and T-boned a pickup truck.

The impact caused the truck to roll over, trapping the driver inside.

Once firefighters arrived on scene, they were able to cut the door open to free that person.

Both drivers were treated on scene by EMS.

No charges for either driver are expected at this time.

This is a developing story.
