Officials say the resident left a candle burning while they went to visit a friend, and returned home to find their home on fire.
SAN ANTONIO — Firefighters say a candle was to blame for a fire that destroyed both a trailer home and motor home on the southwest side of town late Thursday night.
SAFD was called out to the 5400 block of Godek Drive around 10:15 p.m. for reports of a fire.
Firefighters say they arrived to see the home completely engulfed in flames.

Fire crews say the property is a total loss. Luckily, nobody was injured in the blaze.
