The ramp from eastbound Loop 1604 to westbound I-10 will be open to commuters.
SAN ANTONIO — TxDOT is celebrating a major milestone on the Loop 1604 North Expansion project.
The agency along with local officials are holding a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the opening of the first flyover ramp of the Loop 1604 and I-10 interchange.
The ramp from eastbound Loop 1604 to westbound I-10 will be open to commuters. The project has been going on for several months causing traffic headaches for drivers in the Rim, La Cantera and Six Flags areas.
The weekend of Nov. 22-24 was the last weekend closure of construction on the project. Officials say no further closures will happen until after the winter holiday period.
