Five things to watch: Spurs versus Nuggets

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs (3-13) will visit the defending NBA champs Denver Nuggets (10-6) tonight. The Spurs are on an 11-game losing skid.

GAME REWIND

The Spurs are coming off a road loss versus the Warriors, 118-112.

Victor Wembanyama had 22 points, three assists, and eight rebounds while Cedi Osman recorded 11 points. Zach Collins had six points and six rebounds in the loss. Jeremy Sochan had seven points. Keldon Johnson added 22 points. Devin Vassell recorded 24 points.

“Losing sucks for sure. We’re competing better, you can say that. We’re doing a lot of things better. We’re just a young group and we got to learn how to play 48 minutes,” Vassell said. “When teams are going on runs we tend to kind of slow down or not run our offense or just little stuff we start messing up on. We just got to learn how to play 48 minutes consistently.”
