
Heavy rain and storms trap drivers in high water on San Antonio’s northeast side Thursday morning.
SAN ANTONIO — Drivers are getting stuck in dangerous high water at Thousand Oaks and Wetmore on the northeast side of San Antonio Thursday morning after heavy rain and storms throughout the early morning hours.
Showers and storms are sweeping through South Texas Thursday morning, bringing potentially damaging wind gusts and hail to the area. This comes after storms also hit the Alamo City early Wednesday morning, and parts of town saw between half an inch and eight-tenths of an inch of rain.
Video from the area of Thousand Oaks and Wetmore shows cars stuck in very high water at what appears to be a low water crossing.
A Flash Flood Warning continues until 9 a.m. in Bexar and Wilson County. Dangerous road conditions are expected to continue
