‘For our community’ | Pride Parade shines in Corpus Christi with vibrant celebration of representation, visibility

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Downtown Corpus Christi came alive this weekend for the Pride Parade and Block Party, a celebration of community, visibility, and inclusion.

Crowds gathered along Shoreline Boulevard and at Water’s Edge Park to enjoy live entertainment, music, food trucks, and local vendors.

The event highlighted the importance of representation and gave everyone a chance to come together in support of the LGBTQ+ community.

“Every year, if we can get more people to celebrate with us, this is just a celebration of our unique identity,” said Miss Trans Texas USA 2025 Kitana Sanchez. “You know, showing that we exist. At the end of the day, yes, we are all human, but we need this representation and visibility for our community.”

The celebration brought together people of all ages and backgrounds, emphasizing the strength of the community and the importance of inclusion, representation, and support.
