AUSTIN, Texas — Fans at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium (DKR) will soon see a new logo on the field, thanks to a first-of-its-kind initiative.
On Monday, the University of Texas at Austin’s athletics department announced that the Humann logo will be featured not only at the football stadium, but across all campus sports venues.
This includes at the Texas Longhorns Boathouse, Gregory Gymnasium, Texas Tennis Center and other Texas Athletics locations. The logo will also appear at Moody Center at the start of the 2026-2027 basketball season.
“The exciting opportunity with Humann reinforces what starts at Texas, changes the world,” UT Athletic Director Chris Del Conte said in a press release. “If we were going to make the decision to put a brand on our fields, courts and across all our athletics venues, it had to have an incredible story of the University of Texas.”
What is Humann?
Humann is a heart health company that offers beet-based products for customers 18 and older.
The organization was founded in 2009 after research was completed by Dr. Ferid Murad, a Nobel Prize winner who helped head a research program at UT. The program’s work and help from other researchers led to the eventual founding of Humann, which the company said has since been utilized by more than 160 college sports programs and professional sports organizations.
The company offers products including SuperBeets Heart Chews, which were first introduced in 2019. The gummies can help with blood pressure, memory, focus and more. Customers can also purchase items for metabolic health and immune health support, and those products can be found at retailers including CVS Health, Sam’s Club and Walgreens.
“Humann’s year-round fan engagement vision will amplify their reach and impact, demonstrating both the elite achievements of our student-athletes and the everyday wellness goals of college sports fans,” Longhorn Sports Properties Vice President Lucas Motta said.
Humann will also become Texas Athletics’ official cardiovascular supplement, Texas Athletics said in its release.
