FRISCO, Texas — Former Texas Longhorns wide receiver and NFL draft prospect Isaiah Bond, 20, turned himself in to Frisco police Thursday morning on an outstanding warrant for sexual assault, the department confirmed to WFAA.
According to Frisco PD, shortly after turning himself in to police, the former Longhorn posted bond and was released from jail.
In a post on X, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport shared a statement obtained by Bond that read, “Regarding the accusation made against me, I would appreciate the time and opportunity to defend myself and prove the claims made, patently false. I am in full cooperation with the authorities and will remain a willing and active participant in the investigation.”
Details on the alleged sexual assault related to the warrant were not immediately released.
Bond transferred to Texas ahead of the 2024 season after spending two years at Alabama. In his lone season with the Longhorns, he became a key target in the offense, contributing significantly as a wide receiver. Bond later declared for the 2025 NFL Draft following the end of the season.
This is a developing story. WFAA will update this article with the latest information.
