Police say a robbery suspect led officers on a chase in a stolen vehicle before four people, including two juveniles, were arrested.
SAN ANTONIO — A robbery on the northeast side San Antonio quickly turned into a chase and multiple arrests, police say.
Officers were called around 12:45 p.m. Saturday to the 4300 block of Thousand Oaks Drive near Bulverde Road for a robbery in progress.
Investigators say a 47-year-old man was assaulted and had his property taken before the suspects fled.
Police later spotted the suspect vehicle and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver took off, leading officers on a short chase before pulling over and running.
Officers caught up with the suspects on foot and detained four people, two adult males, one adult female and two juvenile males, including a 14-year-old.
During the investigation, police say the vehicle involved was reported stolen.
All four suspects were arrested and face multiple charges, including robbery, unauthorized use of a vehicle, criminal mischief and organized criminal activity.
The case remains under investigation.
