Four in custody after allegedly stealing car at gas station, leading authorities on pursuit

Police say no one was injured in the robbery.

SAN ANTONIO — Multiple local law enforcement agencies including Texas DPS and the Atascosa Sheriff’s Office helped arrest four suspects in an aggravated robbery on Tuesday morning.

Police said a victim was pumping gas at a convenience store when a vehicle with two men inside pulled up alongside the victim.

The man in the passenger seat got out of the vehicle with a long gun and demanded the victim’s vehicle which was identified as a purple Dodge Charger, police said.

Authorities said the victim gave the man the keys to their car and the two men fled the scene in the purple Dodge Charger.

Police said no one was injured in the robbery.

Deputies were able to track down and follow the stolen vehicle at which point the suspects tried to flee.

Multiple law enforcement agencies pursued the suspects.

Authorities were able to successfully spike the stolen vehicle and four suspects are now in custody.
