Antone Sinclair Shannon has been accused of stealing a shark, antique tractor and boat just within the last seven years.
ATASCOSA COUNTY, Texas — A man who has been accused of stealing a shark, antique tractor and boat within the last seven years alone has been arrested again, this time for allegedly stealing a welding machine.
Antone Sinclair Shannon has a long history of theft, according to jail records. To name a few, in 2018, he was accused of stealing a live shark from an aquarium in San Antonio.
Surveillance video showed how Shannon and two other suspects managed to steal the live shark in broad daylight.
Police say three people worked together to grab the horn shark, wrap it in a blanket and use a stroller to smuggle it to their car. Employees followed the dripping stroller but were not able to stop the theft at the time. He was arrested later on.
In June of this year, he was accused of stealing an antique tractor that was taken across the road from the Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office. He was also charged with the theft of a boat that happened that same night. He bonded out shortly after.

Now, Atascosa County investigators believe Shannon is responsible for recently stealing a welding machine, which has since been recovered.
Shannon was arrested in north San Antonio Tuesday for this most recent theft.
Shannon is now at the Bexar County jail as he awaits transport to Atascosa County to deal with this theft.
