Fun-loving Lulu has been waiting three years for someone to choose her to bring home | Forgotten Friends

She is 4-year-old Pit mix that gets along great with most other dogs, and just does “okay” with cats.

CONVERSE, Texas — Our “Forgotten Friends” series showcases a dog or cat each week that has spent a lengthy time at an area shelter, just waiting for someone to notice them and bring them home to love.

This week’s Forgotten Friend is a 4-year-old Pit mix named Lulu that was surrendered to the Converse Animal Shelter back in 2022 because her owner suffered from allergies. That was three years ago and Lulu has been at the shelter ever since, waiting and hoping for a home of her very own.

She’s a very smart, and fun-loving gal who loves to play fetch. She also loves go to the dog park and go for runs with her human.

“Lulu loves to play just has much has she loves lounge around and be lazy,” said shelter staff.

Lulu loves to be petted and is very food-motivated. And she loves to play in the water!

“She loves to be petted everywhere but especially loves butt scratches,” said shelter staff.

She gets along great with most other dogs but is a bit picky about exactly which ones. She’s okay with cats too.

She’d do great in a home with older kids that can keep her busy.
