GoFundMe launched for 90-year-old Air Force Veteran who is pushing carts so he can eat

NEW ORLEANS — A GoFundMe was launched for a 90-year-old U.S. Air Force Veteran who is working as a cart pusher to make ends meet.

He told Swensen that he is working to eat and needs $2,500 a month to live. He says he only gets $1,100 from Social Security, so he has to work.

Swensen started the GoFundMe for the military veteran on Monday. Around 10 p.m., over $70,000 had been raised.
