Grupo Frontera bringing ‘Triste Pero Bien C*brón Tour’ to San Antonio this summer

Regional Mexican stars Grupo Frontera will perform at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio on July 19 as part of their new U.S. tour.

SAN ANTONIO — Regional Mexican hitmakers Grupo Frontera are bringing their newest tour to San Antonio this summer.

The band announced U.S. dates for their “Triste Pero Bien C*brón Tour,” which includes a stop at the Frost Bank Center on Sunday, July 19.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, March 13 at 10 a.m. through the venue’s website and Ticketmaster.

Presented by Live Nation, the tour follows the release of the group’s third studio album, Lo Que Me Falta Por Llorar, which blends emotional lyrics with the norteño-cumbia sound that helped launch the band to international popularity.

The tour’s title comes from the song “Triste Pero Bien Cabrón,” a collaboration with Myke Towers featured on the album.

The announcement comes as the group continues to gain global attention. The band recently earned two nominations at the Grammy Awards for Best Música Mexicana Album.

The San Antonio show is one of 27 stops across the United States as the group continues its international tour.
